FumidamaThis release simplifies search, notices, and recovery, and improves focus when opening documents and Explorer reliability.
- Keep workspace search options and actions together in the query area.
- Use consistent notice dismissal and improve the notice for folders already open in another window.
- Show the recovery entry when a decision is needed. Preserve same-content drafts unless Git history also holds the content.
- Prevent a completed document load from taking focus away from a later user action.
- Recover Explorer file watching automatically and adjust row spacing, creation actions, and sidebar presentation.
- Group the initial screen actions into Open and New, and align workspace settings categories with application settings.
- Add guidance for using Fumidama as the default Markdown application. File associations change only through user action.
Development build name
Packaged development candidates now use the name Fumidama Development, with a separate application identity and profile from production. The former Fumidama Validation application is not replaced automatically. Preserve its working state before using the new development build.
Updating
Open About from the application menu to check for updates. After downloading, choose the restart-and-update action. Fumidama checks preservation of open documents before applying the update. Quitting normally does not apply it.
The Windows release remains unsigned. Run installation and updates with normal user privileges. See Known issues.
