Ask AI for a first draft

Open your workspace folder and start your chosen AI CLI in the terminal. Explain the purpose, audience and required sections, and ask it to write a Markdown file in that folder.

We are planning a seminar about a new service. Write proposal.md with sections for purpose, audience, program and takeaways.

Open the resulting file from Explorer. Review the document itself, not only the AI’s response.

Read and comment

An audience described as “anyone interested in improving their work” may be too broad. Select that passage and add a comment: “Can we be more specific about the audience? Let’s discuss who to focus on.”

The comments guide covers selecting a passage, adding comments, copying and deleting them.

Discuss the comment

Copy the comment and paste it into your AI tool or a CLI you started manually in the terminal. Consider one question at a time: “Do team members and managers need different explanations?” You do not need to request edits immediately.

Comments in Fumidama belong to the document. Conversations with AI take place in the CLI.

Apply the agreed direction

Ask AI to preserve comment metadata while editing the document body. Quotations update when their targets can be identified unambiguously. Replacing a broader passage may remove comments inside it, so review both the text and comments afterward.

Once you decide to focus on team members and leaders, ask AI to revise the proposal accordingly. Check the audience section and any other changes.

If an external change conflicts with your unsaved work, review what to keep before applying it. See saving and history.

Finish the document

You can also edit the text yourself and organize it with headings, lists, tables and reference images. Choose the workflow that suits your task.

After saving, review the history with AI to decide which changes to keep and which passages to adjust.
